MCI-2018 is a 100% silane concrete sealer containing proven Migratory Corrosion Inhibitors (MCI). MCI2018 penetrates deep into concrete and provides corrosion protection to reinforce steel from water and existing chloride ions, or other contaminants. Under proper application, MCI-2018 also repels water by chemically reacting with the cementitious substrate, reducing the entry of additional aggressive materials.
MCI-2018 V / O is specially formulated for vertical surface applications. MCI2018 FD and MCI-2018 V / O FD contain a temporary red tint that facilitates uniform application and supervision of work. The color will stay on the concrete for approximately 7 days, but will fade in approximately 30 days, depending on exposure to sunlight (UV).
MCI-2018 UV contains a UV dye to confirm applications without affecting the appearance of the surface.
MCI-2018 and MCI 2018 VO are available in a permanent red or blue tint.
