VpCI-329D is a ready-to-use oil-based corrosion inhibitor. VpCI-329D provides excellent protection for metals stored indoors and outdoors. VpCI-329D protects in two ways: First, the oil-diluted corrosion inhibitor offers a tough coating on metal providing excellent contact protection. In addition to this barrier film, VpCI-329D releases vapor phase corrosion inhibitors into the air that are electrochemically fixed to the metal surface. VpCI-329D is ideal for protecting metal parts that require a light film of oil after processing and shipping; such as gears, spindles, coils or any other metal part that requires oil to obtain protection against corrosion. VpCI-329D is available in an easy-to-spray (ES) version, its carrier uses bio-based oil.
