VpCI-422 is a product to remove rust, harmless to people but very effective in removing rust from steel, iron, copper, brass, chrome and aluminum. VpCI-422 removes metal corrosion without leaving residue.
It is not harmful to people’s skin nor does it have adverse effects on paints, plastics, wood, textiles, ceramics or rubber when the product is used as recommended. Removing corrosion from metal is easy – apply VpCI-422 and rinse with water.
VpCI-422 is totally organic, 100% biodegradable and does not require any special measures for its use. It is especially useful for use outdoors and in marine applications where chemical waste can be a problem. In rare situations, waste treatment is necessary if there is a significant amount of contaminants in the chemical solution.
Unlike conventional rust removal products, which can be very dangerous to handle and store, VpCI-422 does not present any problems. In addition, its formulation makes it a non-toxic, non-flammable product without acid odor or caustic fumes. It is almost odorless and extremely soft which makes VpCI-422 easy and safe to use. In contrast to much stronger industrial chemicals, VpCI-422 can be used in very wide work areas such as continuous assembly and packaging lines, without affecting production efficiency.
