PRODUCT DESCRIPTION


VpCI-384 is a two-component topcoat designed for moisture curing and for use over a urethane primer, such as VpCI-396. VpCI-384 can be prepared in your desired color. The main advantages of this topcoat are excellent adhesion to wet cure urethanes, even when fully cured.
In addition, VpCI-384 has a high gloss finish, excellent hardness and does not contain aromatic solvents.

APPLICATION SURFACE


Mix the product before use. VpCI-384 is designed to be applied over a urethane primer. The ideal time to apply finish coverage is when the primer is tacky. However VpCI-384 can be applied after the primer has cured, without a significant decrease in adhesion. VpCI-384 should not be applied directly to metal.
Normally the thickness of the wet film is 75-150 microns, yield 50-100 microns.
Methods for monitoring the application: Wet film thickness gauge.
Cleaning product: Acetone, MEK, Butyl Acetate.

PACKAGING AND STORAGE


VpCI-384 is available in 19 liter kits: 15.2 liters Part A and 3.8 liters Part B.
VpCI-384 Aluminum is available in 22.8 liter kits: 19 liter Part A and 3.8 liter Part B.
